Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity
Edward Ndlovu Memorial Trust launched solar powered boreholes at two of our Study Circle groups, Amohelanga goat project in Selonga Village and Sifisimpiloenhle goat project in Gohole village in ward 15 and 17 respectively. This is in response to climate change as it has altered the physical geography of Gwanda rural communities leading to the disappearance of flora and fauna that constitute to the livelihoods of the local people thus aggravating food insecurity in the area. These solar powered boreholes will provide hope for the communities at the same time eliminating the cost of energy as the sun is a natural source of energy. Solar power is the last energy resource that isn’t owned yet-nobody taxes the sun yet!
