Our rural schools which receive the book boxes participated in a reading competition. This started at school level, and then proceeded to competition between the schools in each of five clusters, and then the finals were held between the winners from each cluster. The final was held at the library
Edward Ndlovu Memorial Library hosted a spelling competition for five urban primary schools. Gwanda Adventist were the winners, spelling every word correctly.
